Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner
Robert Half is working with a leading manufacturing company seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting plant leadership and employees, ensuring a positive and productive workplace environment. This individual will handle a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, training, and HR policy implementation. Fluency in Spanish and English is required to facilitate communication and support initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted resource for employees and leadership, addressing workplace concerns and promoting positive employee relations.
Lead investigations into workplace issues, ensuring resolutions are thorough and fair.
Manage leave programs such as FMLA and disability, ensuring compliance and proper communication with employees.
Partner with managers to implement performance management processes, including coaching and employee development plans.
Oversee engagement and retention efforts, fostering a workplace culture of inclusion and recognition.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Support training and development programs, enhancing employee skillsets and productivity.
Monitor key workforce metrics, such as turnover and absenteeism, and recommend strategies for improvement.
Assist in the communication and implementation of organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions.
Handle terminations, including exit interviews and related documentation.
Respond to unemployment claims and manage related compliance processes.
Participate in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives that impact the entire facility.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
Demonstrated ability to manage HR projects and provide strategic guidance to leadership.
Familiarity with HR systems and tools (ERP/HCM, ATS, project management, and office software).
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance.
Experience implementing employee engagement and training programs.
Compensation & Pay Transparency
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000. The specific salary offered will depend on factors such as the candidate’s relevant experience, education, skills, and the needs of the role. Typically, candidates are not hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions consider individual qualifications and the specifics of the position. Pay ranges are reviewed and updated annually.
