Hyatt Sales Manager in GAYA, India

Description:

The sales manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process account management and function of a hotel. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, solicits and generates business.

· Proactively finding opportunities for business growth by securing the development of the existing portfolio, while simultaneously acquiring new accounts.

· Entertaining and conducting hotel inspections with partners.

· Engaging in weekly sale activities in order to secure the continuous growth of business. (Sales Calls, Site Inspections, Entertainment, Sales Blitz).

· Assisting to conduct extensive competitor research and maintaining excellent product knowledge of the Hotel.

· Understanding the client needs in order to build “win-win strategic partnerships”.

· Liaising and working closely with the related operation departments ensuring guest’s expectations are being met.

· Achieving personal sales targets.

· Forward suggestions for improvement to the DOSM, in terms of market strategies, for the steady improvement of the hotel’s business situation.

· Regular performance of competitor checks.

· Participation at exhibitions, fairs, sales promotions, etc. and representing the hotel and Hyatt International, in order to gain a positive reputation within the hotel market.

· Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and hotel policies.

· Assisting the team with any support that they require.

· Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

· Ensure all employees maintain an updated awareness of Hotel product knowledge, current promotion, policy changes and appropriate internal communication.

· Travel to foreign countries for sales activities as directed by the DOSM· Focus on solution-oriented problem management

· Regularly run reports, manage database and keep financial records in line with company policy

· Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate.
