Tend to cattle, perform regular scheduled maintenance and simple repairs on related equipment, vehicles, ATVs and UTVs. Facilities maintenance such as maintaining and repairing fences, barns, sheds, water troughs, tanks/ponds, working pens, traps, and feeders. Operate and repair general farm equipment. Operate cube wagons, hay vans, keep bulk feeders and creep feeders filled, put out hay and feed daily, herd and sort cattle for sale and transport, make herd health evaluations. Provide vaccinations, and other medications, worm and castrate cattle and sheep as needed. Perform animal husbandry tasks such as birthing calves, group cattle according to age and expected calving dates. Conduct regular pasture/brush management. Remove weeds and brush, fertilize native grasses, plant seasonal forage, trim trees, plant food plots, mow and weedeat around facilities and out buildings. Meals: Employer will provide (on a voluntary basis) transportation to assure workers access to stores\ where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals. Employer will furnish free and\ convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers may prepare their own meals.

Transportation: The employer shall provide transportation between housing and worksite and for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services) in the form of pickup, car, van, or other common means controlled/operated by the employer between the place where the employer has provided housing to the actual work site and return at the end of the workday.

Given the nature of farming/ranching operations, the employers vehicles, number of vehicles, and seating capacities in use change regularly, but in general, will always be 1 or more and will consist of vehicles such as pickups, cars, or vans. Pickups, cars, and vans seat 1-6 individuals. In instances where the employer has not provided the worker his or her own means (such as one of the prior mentioned modes) or in the case that the worker does not possess the ability to operate a motor vehicle on public roadways, daily transportation schedule will coincide with the work schedule outlined on this application, or as agreed upon between employer and employee based on seasonal demands and/or workload. All work-related transportation will be without cost to the worker, all transportation is controlled/operated by the employer, and the means of transportation shall meet all applicable local, state, and federal safety standards. Local workers and workers who decline employer-provided housing are responsible for their own daily\ transportation.

Worker may select any means of transportation and will be reimbursed at no less than the most economical and reasonable common\ carrier transportation charges for the distances involved. Employer provides or pays outbound travel costs to workers who complete\ the contract or are dismissed early. Return transportation will not be provided to workers who voluntarily resigns, abandons the job or\ are terminated for cause.
