Description We are on the lookout for a skilled Cost Accountant to join our team in Garden Grove, California. This role will be centered around the collection and analysis of operational costs within the company, setting standard costs for manufactured goods, and conducting cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis. The successful candidate will also be expected to establish costs of business processes and perform account reconciliations. This role offers a unique opportunity within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting and analyzing data about the company's operational costs

• Setting standard costs for manufactured goods

• Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis

• Establishing costs for business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, and others

• Performing account reconciliations on a regular basis

• Preparing audit reports and presenting findings to management

• Recommending changes to company processes and policies to reduce costs and maximize profit

• Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data

• Utilizing skills in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Accounting, Standard Cost Accounting, and Spanish Language for day-to-day tasks and communication. Requirements • Proficiency in Cost Accounting and related practices

• Expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting

• Strong understanding of Standard Cost Accounting

• Proficient in Spanish language

• Experience in a similar role in an accounting or finance department

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• detail oriented certification such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on data analysis

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
