Direct Hire!!! Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm/ 1 Sat a month 8am - 2pm

Must be able to work a rotating shift 10:30am to 7:00pm (Temporary)

$50k - $62k - plus yearly bonus!

Job Description for: Credit and Collections Representative - Corporate Office

Summary:

The Credit and Collections Representative is responsible for calling on past accounts and aiming to collect payments on overdue balances. Responsible for reconciling any issues that arise on customers' accounts. Responsible for research, answer and reconcile customer inquiries and issues. Responsible for reviewing orders and determining if customers' orders can be released and billed. The Credit and Collections Representative should have strong communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. Should possess excellent math skills and basic knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Reports To:

Credit Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Call on past due accounts

  • Collects payment on overdue amounts

  • Reconcile problems on customers' accounts

  • Review orders and determine if customers' orders can be released and billed

  • Answer customer inquiries about their accounts by phone and email

  • Interface and communicate with branches and employees on customer's accounts, any customer inquiries and orders

  • Strong ability to work as part of a team

  • Excellent math skills

  • Recommended AR bookkeeping experiences

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Any other duties and responsibilities as directed

  • Abilities and Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a drug test

Education: High school diploma, or equivalent
