Job Description

What will you do?

Lead the commercial businesses of Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD), Korea with full responsibility for the P&L (Profit & Loss) of the business

Develop and implement the business strategy of CMD Commercial Korea to achieve the target of Annual Operating Plans for revenue and booking, market share, and operating profits.

Develop strategies and implement actions to improve our brand as a leading innovative supplier of analytical instruments, software, and consumables.

Drive Clean Energy business development and achieve the objectives outlined in our mid-term strategic plan (STRAP). This includes developing coordinated battery inline portfolios and customized Application/Software/System solutions for Korean EV battery manufacturers.

Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy including the appropriate mix between direct and distributor partners and key account strategy to drive incremental growth through value proposition and workflow selling solutions

Lead important new product introductions and deliver on incremental revenue targets for NPI

Implement effective marketing strategies to meet end-user demand and cultivate a customer-focused culture to deliver encouraged results

Drive process improvements across the teams to strengthen customer allegiance, and engage in an end-to-end approach through PPI.

Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements such as all employees are aware of and carry out to Thermo Fisher Scientific's code of conduct, and ensure compliance with local tax requirements and legislations related to commercial deals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Extensive knowledge and expertise in the analytical instruments industry for +15 years, with a minimum of +5 years of experience in either Sales or Strategic Marketing leadership roles with a strong commercial background and commercial operation leadership skills.

Proven ability to develop and implement effective business strategies, driving growth and achieving desired outcomes.

Strong ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with high-level customers, as well as influence key internal collaborators in a complex, matrixed environment.

Ability to understand and adapt to different business cultures with a strong mentality as an advocate of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Faculty to increase the network to drive improvements and ensure all relevant partners are involved and aligned
