Job Description:
To provide professional and administrative coordination of human resource and financial management activities.
Job Duties:
Administrative
Responsible for Human Resources procedures related to employee appointment and maintenance transactions. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Review and process Employment Authorization Forms.
Review and process the following transactions, including but not limited to: new hires, transfers, reclassifications, status changes, salary changes, separations, and leaves of absence.
Open and maintain complete/accurate files.
Update/maintain faculty database, if applicable.
Review and process Memorandums of Appointment, if applicable.
Ensure compliance with UT System Regents Rules.
Serve as liaison to staff in other entity processing units, Human Resources, Payroll, and other support areas.
Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution and assists with questions regarding policies, procedures, and operations of the entity.
Prepares reports as requested for institutional and/or external reporting purposes.
In the School of Medicine, coordinate, verify and submit the AAMC Faculty Salary Survey and all Faculty Roster information. Complete annual surveys and run reports as needed.
Identifies operational problems and implements changes to provide solutions.
Budget
Coordinate information to support the institutional/departmental budget and planning process.
Maintains departmental reconciliation and analysis of commitments made through the entity.
Adheres to internal controls established for department.
Performs related duties as required.
Work Schedule:
Remote work, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
