_Position Summary:_
The phlebotomist performs a variety of functions such as collecting blood and other specimens using aseptic technique.
_Training and Continued Education_**
Opportunities for further education and training are available to our employees.
_Minimum Education_ * Must be trained by medical technologist or medical laboratory technicians in proper techniques of blood collection. * Must demonstrate competence by completion of the phlebotomy training checklist. * Formal phlebotomy training program preferred. * BLS required within 30 days of hire.
