About the Team
The Controlling team at ZF Gainesville supports a diverse manufacturing portfolio, including existing Off-highway drivetrains, passenger car drivetrains, commercial vehicle drivetrains, capital equipment distribution as well as new products for eMobility. The Financial Analyst will support the site operations team as well as the product line teams to understand the financial impact of current and future decisions. The controlling team is collaborative and directly involved in the accounting and financial analysis processes used to support key stakeholders. The key to success factors for this role are strong attention to detail, in-depth understanding of financial statements, ability to translate financial data into actionable information, willingness to work a problem to resolution and, finally, a strong willingness to collaborate in professional team.
What you can look forward to as a Financial Analyst II
Analyze monthly financial results and isolate/correct/explain variances from plan.
Support Controller with preparation and coordination of the business plan.
Create and maintain financial reporting database to meet all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for both planning and actual results of operations.
Review standard costs for materials and assembled products.
Record and circulate information on product costing.
Prepare cost calculations to support service parts pricing and quotes for assembled OE products.
Maintain and perform distributions of operating costs among business operations.
Review and update capital investment files, prepare corporate investment requests.
Perform related month end tasks and management support tasks as required.
Your Profile as a Financial Analyst II
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
2+ years of financial or cost accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred.
