Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Include:
Business Operations
Manages daily operations of the course and room scheduling area
Supervises area staff and coordinates training for campus users
Researches and analyzes complex scheduling issues
Recommends and implements solutions for over 30,000 sections and 200 classrooms annually
Reviews procedures to streamline and improve efficiency
Collaborates with Assistant University Registrar for system enhancements
Acts as liaison between the Office of the University Registrar and the campus community
Coordinates Registrar function changes in the student information system
Manages the student information system development activities
Ensures data integrity, quality standards, and adherence to procedures
Conducts research for institutional reports and website updates
Systems Administration
Administers course and event scheduling software
Configures and maintains system databases
Monitors systems, troubleshoots issues, and identifies areas for improvement
Liaises with off-site software vendor technical support
Collaborates with UF Information Technology team for system development
Registrar Support
Assists in major projects within Office of the University Registrar
Researches and resolves complex student records and registration issues
Provides supervisor support and cross-training within the office
Performs other assigned duties
Expected Salary:
$55,000 annually

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience with the academic process.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft student information system.
Familiarity with data spreadsheets, data management, data analysis and other Microsoft tools.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and communication skills.
Familiarity with report writing software, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relations with others.
