Job Description:

As part of our Administrative Services Team, you will provide support to our seminar series and escort our external visitors and guest speakers between meetings throughout the Health Science Center and UF Health campus. Occasional clerical office duties are also required, including providing coverage for other administrative staff (including reception) based in our main office.

Ideal applicants will be highly responsible, professional in appearance and demeanor, and possess excellent communication skills as well as an inherent skill set and desire to provide exceptional customer service. This position requires a valid Florida driver's license and to transport guest speakers using office vehicles including golf carts.

This position is part-time and will be scheduled for up to 24 hours per week with some flexibility for ongoing projects, special events, and other related business needs. Applicants should have consistent availability from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; work schedule, hours, and arrival time will fluctuate depending on the event/or projects.

A criminal background screening will be conducted for final candidates.

Expected Salary:

$14.00 - $15.00; hourly

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Valid Florida driver's license and willingness to drive office vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high degree of personal and professional responsibility, professional appearance and demeanor, excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • A demonstrated ability to work independently, interact professionally, and use customer service skills;

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel;

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
