Job Description:

Lead Trainer

Delivery

• Serve as a lead in-house trainer for transportation courses

• Prepare and conduct technical training programs

• Assist Program Manager with implementing the online and in-person training

• Deliver training online or in-person after completion of trainer certification

Development

• Organize, develop, or source training programs to enhance current T2 Center course offerings

• Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods, including classroom instruction, webinar, virtual training, on-the-job coaching

• Assess training needs and certification requirements

• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills

• Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology

Program Management

• Manage daily operations of the Transportation Training Program, including training budget, in-house training facilities and equipment, and client records

• Budget development, tracking, and management for each training class

• Schedule training programs

• Coordinate off-site training activities

• Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment

Reporting and Outcomes

• Provide feedback to program participants and management

• Track and report training outcomes

• Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness

• Support development of grant deliverables related to training delivery

• Develop procedures for reviewing existing T2 transportation training programs as well as creating new programs and secures funding for such programs.

Outreach

• Establish and maintain relationships with external instructors, customers and grant stakeholders

• Establish connections with private and public entities to host exclusive courses

• Inform customers about training options.

• Positively resolve customer-service and problems.

• Represent T2 at professional conferences and meetings.

• Deliver presentations at meetings and conferences to promote T2 trainings and projects

Expected Salary:

$65,000-$70,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, transportation, traffic safety or other related field.

Minimum of two years of direct experience in a related field.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to be proactive and take initiative with limited supervision.

Strong experience in teaching and delivering training courses in-person and online.

Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
