iCIMS Sr, Data Analyst in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, India

Job Overview

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert who can lead efforts to analyze data with the goal of delivering insights that will influence our products and customers. This position will report into the Senior Director, Data Insights & Customer Intelligence, and will work closely with our marketing team, data engineers, and senior leadership in our Customer Success organization supporting client outreach efforts. The chief function of this role will be finding and sharing data-driven insights to deliver value and impact to less technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from a variety of sources- including external labor market data and research and internal data sets from all of our platforms. 

  • Discover opportunities to expand how we use data at iCIMS, and execute a plan to follow through on them

  • Incorporate information from a variety of systems to produce comprehensive and compelling narratives for thought-leadership initiatives and customer engagements

  • Understand principles of quality data visualization and apply them in the creation and maintainingof custom dashboards for consumption by other employees

  • Find and Investigate data quality issues, root causes and recommend remedies to be implemented by the data scientists and engineers  

  • Liaise with teams around our business to understand their problems, determine how our team can help, then use our database to produce the content they need

  • Identify data mapping and enrichment requirements 

  • Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies

  • Produce and adapt data visualizations in response to business requests for internal and external use.

  • Adapt existing analyses and/or models in response to business requests 

  • Shows good judgement in prioritizing their own commitments and those of the larger team, while demonstrating initiative and appropriate urgency when needed

  • Maintains flexibility and reacts to change appropriately. 

  • Takes measures to enhance body of knowledge and skill set through training. 

  • Mentor junior team members in best practices for analytics, data visualization, and data storytelling.

Qualifications

  • 5-10years professional experience working in an analytics capacity

  • Excellent communication abilities, especially with regards to data storytelling – finding insights from complex datasets and sharing those findings with key stakeholders

  • Strong data analytics and visualization skills

  • Expertise in Tableau Desktop (Tableau Server and Prep are preferable)

  • Proficiency in SQL and either Python or R

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel 

Preferred

Education/Certifications/Licenses Required

BA/BS with major or minor in  Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or another quantitative discipline. Other majors will be considered with demonstrated interest/coursework in quantitative fields.
