We’re looking for a detail-oriented critical thinker with a strong business acumen to join our team as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, where you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to help drive the mission of our business through use of data and analytics. As a Sr BI Analyst, you’ll help solve business problems by conducting statistical analysis and modeling to enable informed, data-driven recommendations. You’ll identify key themes and trends, business risks and opportunities, and financial variance drivers, as well as help manage analytical source data for optimal results. Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical insights into current state of the business that can be leveraged for growth opportunities and operational efficiency gains.

  • Demonstrate critical thinking - identify the story in context using multiple data sets

  • Develop scalable, automated dashboards to provide benchmarking and progress against key performance goals and initiatives; understand root causes of what impacts attainment of those objectives results

  • Adapt existing analyses and/or models in response to business requests

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

  • Work with systems and projects teams to automate, maintain and improve/update existing reports and processes

  • Develop standard data extracts/reports/analyses for senior leadership

  • Review, analyze, and validate data and reports to ensure quality of delivery to internal and external clients

  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, regulations and policies

  • Develop models for inference and prediction based on various data sources

  • Partner with colleagues across the organization to develop analytics algorithms that will demonstrate patterns and actionable insights from business data

  • Assist in the creation of the strategic plan for new products and how it aligns to the business goals and company strategy

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of supported business units and their internal and external drivers for decision making

  • Maintain high levels of accuracy, data integrity, process consistency and documentation in planning, forecasting, and modeling approaches. Enable the correct interpretation of information

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, statistics, or similar fields

  • Creative, intellectually curious, and able to effectively collaborate cross-functionally, partnering with stakeholders to drive business performance

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to develop and query databases, and perform statistical analysis.

  • Strong reasoning skills with the strength to discuss results critically and persuasively with senior level professionals

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Data driven mindset with a strong business acumen and focus on analytical problem solving, data manipulation and management skills

  • Experience with the following Statistical Software is a plus: R, MatLab, Python, Pandas

  • Experience with using Salesforce.com required

  • Expert level skills with SQL and Tableau required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to turn data into a story for our business partners

  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred

  • BA/BS in related field highly preferred or relevant equivalent work experience

  • Tableau Certified Desktop Specialist Certification is highly preferred
