Key Job Responsibilities
The Regional Vice President (RVP) is an External Wholesaler, responsible for driving growth of Corporate 401(k) and Governmental 457(b) sales through retail and 3rd party financial advisors in assigned region of Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.
Primary responsibilities include developing sales pipeline, generating activities to drive proposal development and point of sale meetings to attain assigned goal. Leverage internal sales desk to grow in assigned region and follow up on sales desk leads. The candidate will be responsible for communicating with Group Retirement Divisional Vice President (DVP) and Player Coach on an ongoing basis regarding territory sales activities and sales goal attainment. In this position you will work in your home office with travel up to 80% as needed.
The base salary for this position is $90,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
7 years of 401(k) and 457(b) wholesaling experience in assigned region (GA, AL & MS)
Professional working knowledge of 401(k), 457(b), cash balance and managed account products
FINRA Series 6 or 7; and Series 63 registrations
Life & Health State Insurance Licenses
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
CLU, ChFC, CFP strongly desired
Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills with excellent computer and organizational skills

Financial Services Industry: Knowledge of financial services industry trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to provide specific financial advice to clients.

Knowledge of Sales Channels: Knowledge of meanings and features of sales channels; ability to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling an organization's products and services.
Producing Results: Understanding of the criticality of getting things done in spite of current circumstances and the ability to utilize assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes.
Prospecting: Knowledge of prospecting principles, processes and skills; ability to identify and engage potential customers in the market.
Results Orientation: Knowledge of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.
Sales & Marketing: Knowledge of the strategies and operations for promoting the organization products, services and reputation; ability to develop and implement these strategies and operations.
Territory Management: Knowledge of territory management practices, tools and techniques; ability to manage and maximize insurance business performance for one or multiple geographical area(s).
