Fortive Corporation Electrical Hardware Engineer in Fultonville, New York

Anderson-Negele is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our team in our Fultonville, NY. The ideal candidate for this role will focus on performance, quality, and cost with responsibility for the sustainment of existing product lines by providing design changes, optimizations, improvements. This position will be responsible for the execution of product designs updates and the testing and validation of the updates. This position is also responsible for maintaining regulatory portfolio by managing documentation, testing, and performing specific compliance related tasks. This position requires minimal direction and mentorship and will possess enough knowledge and insight to make most decisions on their own.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and execute Sustainment/Quality related projects, VAVE related projects and margin improvement projects

  • Track projects metrics, cost, schedule, and quality targets

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects

  • Implement and maintain regulatory approvals

  • Cross-functionally help improve sustaining process

    On your first day, we’ll expect that you’ll have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters

  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Experience working multi-functionally with manufacturing, quality and purchasing teams

  • Basic understanding of power management, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance

  • Experience in designing analog and digital circuits

National: The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $117,000

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
