SOSi is seeking a highly qualified DAC Data Analysis Correction Analyst III to provide immediate customer support to resolve complex cases within prescribed time limits. We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights and support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner. The analyst shall provide support for data analysis and correction in support of an answer, truth, information or knowledge that cannot be answered at the Tier 1 Service Desk inquiry. The analyst will research issues, resolve data discrepancies, and proactively provide feedback in regard to trending issues.

Essential Job Duties

• Use multiple software applications, resolve high priority, complex data discrepancy cases within prescribed time limits.

• Work directly with high-ranking stakeholders across directives and agencies, to conduct full case analysis and resolution of the issue.

• Coordinate with database administrators and/or execute simple SQL scripts due to the type of data discrepancy requiring fixing.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Collect and organize data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to prepare datasets for analysis.

• Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods and data visualization techniques.

• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data to provide insights and recommendations.

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate data quality and accuracy, making recommendations for improvements.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.

  • Proven experience working as a data analyst or in a similar role; 3 years’ experience in a role that demonstrates experience and knowledge in analyzing and correcting data.

  • with at least 5+ years’ experience with SQL in data querying and manipulation.

  • In-scope DoD Secret clearance

  • Basic knowledge of customer data processes

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Experience with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression modeling.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must meet DoDi 8140.03 IT Certification requirements

  • Certification in database or SQL management
