Overview

Tanaq Support Services (TSS) delivers professional, scientific, and technical services and information technology (IT) solutions to federal agencies in health, agriculture, technology, and other government services. TSS is a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation, an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) committed to serving Federal customers while also giving back to the Tanaq native community and shareholders.

About the Role

We are seeking a Resource Library and Website Maintenance Coordinator to support a Tribal Implementation Center under the Public Health Data Modernization Program. The center will provide technical assistance and aid Tribes and Tribal organizations in data modernization efforts while ensuring culturally-appropriate approaches that respect indigenous values and Tribal data sovereignty.

This position will serve as a resource library manager and ensure knowledge management practices are appropriate for all users while respecting both Tribal knowledge and data sovereignty. Responsibilities will include maintaining training materials, supporting library users, assessing effectiveness and efficiency, organizing program data and coordinating with team members to develop and disseminate related program guidelines, goals, plans, and strategies.

This is a fully remote position that can be based in Atlanta, GA or anywhere in the U.S. Some travel (15% of time) will be required to various locations in the U.S. to attend meetings, conferences, etc. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resource library and website used to deliver and disseminate communication, education, and training resources, including management of courses, syndication, users, and learning groups.

  • Work with Tribes and Tribal organizations while ensuring culturally-appropriate approaches and communications that respect indigenous values and Tribal data sovereignty.

  • Serve as a point of contact for partners and stakeholders – prioritizing, delegating, tracking, and reporting on tasks conducted by the content team as well as directly assisting with implementation

  • Assist with website registration, setting up accounts, answering helpdesk emails for issues with login and general site assistance, resetting passwords, deactivating old accounts, etc.

  • Monitor the resource library and website email submissions and user support requests and respond within 2 business days. Track and coordinate all requests.

  • Create tickets and follow up using Atlassian JIRA Service Desk.

  • Attend regular meetings and assist with resource library and website ticket monitoring within the project management software.

  • Coordinate resource library and website content updates and changes.

  • Update JobAids as needed with approved Word, PDF, and video files.

  • Identify, create, and update Standard Operating Procedures on a regular basis.

  • Maintain an updated member directory of all website members and have this directory accessible to users as appropriate.

  • Coordinate with external subject matter experts and partners/grantees, where applicable, in support of facilitating peer-to-peer engagement.

  • Maintain an updated inventory of all technical assistance providers and different technical assistance options available and make these resources available to all users.

  • Assist with extracting engagement data and importing the data into monthly reports to display key training metrics and trends, as needed.

  • Create and lead presentations to partners and internal project teams, as needed.

  • Provide general project support as needed.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in web content management and/or supporting systems in an administrative role and some technical support.

  • Experience coordinating learning management systems (LMS) used to deliver and disseminate communication, education, and training resources, including management of courses, syndication, users, and learning groups highly desired.

  • Experience with public health content and background in health communication and health equity is a plus.

  • Demonstrated cultural competence in providing services to or working with Tribes and Tribal organizations while ensuring culturally-appropriate approaches that respect indigenous values and Tribal data sovereignty highly desired.

  • Experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and external partners.

  • Experience working with subject matter experts.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to efficiently manage and respond to multiple requests and priorities.

  • Ability to show initiative, think critically, analyze situations and data, and solve problems.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor's Degree in public health, computer science, or other related field.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to travel (15% of time) to various locations in the U.S. to attend meetings, conferences, etc.
