Candidate will be responsible for successful project execution, financial, scheduling and technical management in accordance with USACE, AFCEC contract requirements, project plans and established corporate policies. Execution of work will include proposal preparation, cost estimating, schedule development and forecasting, project planning, design, field execution and project closeout. Develop new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients, geographical area, or type of project.
Responsible for overall management of the QC program and acting in all QC matters for the Contractor
Thoroughly familiar with DoD construction processes for the construction of fuel facilities/bulk fuel storage tanks; requirements for quality control plans; and 3-phase QC processes.
In conjunction with the Project Manager and design team, incorporates our proven 3-Phase QC Program. This organized approach to quality control addresses the Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up phases of work, and integrates all disciplines for quality implementation across each definable feature of work (DFOW)
Ability to effectively work with a team to effectively implement the QC process
Must professionally represent the company verbally, in writing, and in person to clients, team members and all others that may have contact with
Ability to make informed decisions and take responsibility for the outcomes. Willingness to embrace personal and professional development
Knowledge of construction related technologies, quality activities and quality auditing. Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings, specifications, and applicable technical instructions, plans and reports
Document construction quality control through the project and maintain reporting requirements including photo documentation and written reports
Knowledge of POL-related and general construction disciplines
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
Must be on-site at all times during construction
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of experience on the construction of various types of fuel facilities and fuel storage tank projects; Has experience with management/quality control responsibilities of varying size, scope, and complexity, including projects valued at $15M USD or more.
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in engineering, architectural, or construction management.
Must have or be able to obtain the following:
Must have a Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractor’s course - must be current or obtained within 90 days of award; certificate expires after 5 years and must be retaken to remain current.
OSHA 30 Hour Training Certificate (no more than 5 years old)
Current CPR & AED Certificate
Working Conditions
Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and reach
Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds and walk a project site
Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions and on job sites throughout CMS project locations
Must have valid driver’s license; be insurable on the company insurance
Must be will to travel
