Dobson Fiber MDU Account Executive - Ft. Smith in Ft. Smith, Arkansas

The MDU Account Executive is responsible for the growth of Dobson Fiber’s MDU business and maximizing uptake in our MDU segment to support Dobson Fiber’s residential growth. The MDU Account Executive is expected to contribute in the following significant ways. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute tactics to increase customer acquisition and multi-unit dwelling (MDU) uptake as a greater percentage of Dobson Fiber’s overall customer uptake metric. Develop and implement strategic sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations with owners of MDUs to secure long-term ROE, Bulk, and/or Trade/Marketing agreements. Assess, clarify, and communicate MDU customer concerns, needs, and service expectations. Leverage current market insights to identify near-term business opportunities with an eye on developing opportunities for future acquisition. Lead MDU contract process from initial conversation through engineering, sale, and account retention. Optimize community engagement activities for customer experience by planning, scheduling internal staff, and executing all logistics with customer experience in mind. Determine, plan, achieve, and exceed defined MDU acquisition targets Stay informed of proposed new MDU developments by attending or tracking municipal approval meetings Attend real estate and property management industry association functions and participate in relevant trade shows. Perform public relations and liaison functions with market research firms, homebuilder's associations, multi-family housing groups, and county/city building agencies. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 2+ years outside field sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably in B2B sales or MDU environment. 1+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating proposals and contracts. Proven track record cultivating a lasting rapport with community developers, property managers/owners, and MDU residents. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to think strategically, act tactically, and deliver an extraordinary customer experience. Proven track record of achieving performance expectations and customer service experience rating. Effective cross-functional collaborator. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation. Valid driver’s license and driving record. ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS Some business travel required for this position Indoor office environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enables the use of office machinery. Employees operating company vehicles and equipment must comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Seat belt use is required while operating any company vehicle or equipment. Texting while driving is prohibited by Dobson Fiber policy and State Law. Participate in safety committee meetings, training sessions, and surveys as requested and provide input into improving safety. Notify your supervisor or Human Resources immediately of any change in physical or mental condition or use of prescription drugs or illegal drugs that would affect the employee’s job performance or the safety of him/herself or others. Working under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at any company facility, workplace, worksite, or when operating any company vehicle or equipment. Any employee, contractor, or subcontractor who works or reports to work under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will be subject to disciplinary action, including possible termination of employment or loss of contract. Notify the Human Resources Director within five days of serious driving, drug/alcohol, or criminal convictions. Be a safe worker on and off the job. Help coworkers do their job safely. Approach work with a safe attitude.
