Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) offers forward-thinking technology solutions to federal agencies and the DoD. Formed in 2016 to serve federal customers CONUS, CITES has grown quickly into a best practices leader for the modern federal enterprise.

The Technical Business Analyst will have a heavy emphasis on platform development, and data management, and may delve into salesforce coding or administration on occasion. They have worked as Salesforce Developers, Administrators, or in the Salesforce ecosystem and can facilitate requirements translation at the Salesforce Developer or Coder level.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work product with the Agile Development Team and other internal and external project stakeholders to understand their system requirements.

  • Deliver customer-driven solutions following agile methodologies and development practices.

  • Provide expertise to a cross-functional Agile Development Team that develops custom objects, page layouts, and record types to distinguish between various requirements.

  • Ensure release schedule expectations and deliveries are completed in line with the government’s mission requirements/schedule.

  • Facilitate discussions regarding the Mobile Asset Tracker program initiatives.

  • Assist the MAT Project Director with conducting briefings and demonstrations of the program across the Department of Defense and provide technical support to existing and prospective customers.

  • Break down roadmaps into epics and decompose them into user stories.

  • Ensure user stories include acceptance criteria and provide technical reviews.

  • Work with the MAT Project Director, Lead Salesforce Developer, and Salesforce Architect to prioritize the backlog.

  • Validate the development of system solutions to satisfy customers’ business needs.

  • Map process models, design technical solutions to satisfy requirements, and work with the Salesforce Developer – Quality to facilitate formal system development testing.

  • Coordinate and support code releases across environments.

  • Provide additional support and guidance to clients during the implementation phase, including the development of training videos and other resources as required.

  • Collaborate with team members to design, build, and manage the Mobile Asset Tracker Modules that may require 3rd-party consultation.

  • Track the progress of technical issue resolution and provide valuable program expertise to negotiate solutions as necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration OR

  • High school diploma or GED and additional 4+ years specific to system administration and/or business analysis

  • Must have Aerial Delivery/military experience

  • Must be a United States citizen.

  • This position requires a favorable Tier-1 Background Controlled Unclassified Information Investigation (CUI – formerly FOUO) access (ADP-III, IT-3, Tier 1 Investigation) and general user network permissions with the potential of obtaining a Secret clearance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to understand and document customer business requirements.

  • Have a deep understanding of the business process itself and how the system functions and pair their strong Salesforce understanding with a business domain background.

  • Strong understanding of appropriate organizational workflows, DoD-supported technology, database concepts, and package system implementations.

  • Possess experience coordinating personnel workload and managing release schedule deadlines in accordance with established release schedules.

  • Ability to work in a remote environment within the established core hours (based on Eastern Time Zone).

  • Familiar with the DevOps Lifecycle and experience coordinating Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of work products, and demos, with key program stakeholders.

  • Familiarity in a complex enterprise application environment with integrations and customizations to support multiple business processes.

  • Approximately 15% travel.

  • Must have a strong knowledge base of aerial delivery processes from packing of parachutes to issues of aerial delivery, and heavy drop rigging.
