Description:
Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.
This is a Full Time position with benefits working the evening shift. 2p-1030p
Job Summary:
Cleans, inspects, assembles and sterilizes instruments and other materials according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
Stores, rotates and insures the instruments and other items are labeled correctly.
Distributes clean and retrieves soiled instruments, rental equipment and other materials on a scheduled or emergency basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Central Service Technician course.
At least 1 year of experience preferred.
Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization.
Computer knowledge.
