Job Title: Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating structural steel products using blueprints and MIG welding applications. This is a first shift, contract-to-hire position with opportunities for long-term employment.
Responsibilities
Gather material per blueprint to create structural steel products
Utilize blueprints extensively for layout and fabrication
Lay out material, square it per blueprint, and tack weld using a MIG welding application
Operate brake press and rollers for fabrication
Use a forklift to move parts around the shop
Utilize an overhead crane to move parts throughout the facility
Read and use a tape measure accurately

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Experience with brake press and rollers for fabrication
Sheet metal experience

Work Environment
This is a first shift position from 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with work on every other Saturday. Attendance is extremely important, and missing work within the first 30 days is not allowed. The work environment involves handling structural steel products and using various fabrication tools and equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00
