Standard Technologies Product Engineer in Fremont, Ohio
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and improvement of products, ensuring they meet both customer requirements and industry standards. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform all engineering and technical assignments related to the product line.
· Provide product support to Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Accounting.
· Develop and maintain all engineered manufacturing drawings and related supporting documentation for the entire product line, including BOM's.
· Continuous improvement of product development.
· Support the Quote Engineer with generating quotes and purchasing requisitions for material and special-order components Will lead all new product launches.
· Interaction with Customer via email, phone, and site visits.
· Stay current with all federal code requirements.
· Provide input to production scheduling to maintain project schedules.
· Identify potential and existing problems and provide a solution.
· Closely work with shop personnel to ensure accuracy and quality of product.
· Closely work with cross functional teams such as Process Engineering, Quality, Production, and Accounting for execution of plans, process improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
· Fuel tank and EPA/CARB experience preferred.
· Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks.
· CAD/CNC programming experience preferred, specifically SIGMANEST.
· Experience in metal fabrication preferred.
· Experience with PPAP's a plus.
· Must be a strong leader and detail oriented.
· Capable of working in a team environment.
· A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
