Saint-Gobain Production Operator in FREMONT, California

Job Overview:

• Responsible for operating all production equipment managing scrap and maintaining high productivity levels.

• Employees sustain a positive team environment, a focus on Safety, Quality Assurance, and Efficiency. Compensation: • Wage: $ 24 an hour

• Shift Hiring: 3rd Shift (10:00 pm - 6:00 am)

• Training is completed on 1st shift.

BACKGROUND:

COMPLETE:

• Assignment to 3rd Shift ($0.70 shift differential). Typical Job Duties:

• Run efficient production lines, problem-solving to ensure products meet quality specifications, including checking product and equipment frequently, making immediate adjustments or changes to lines when needed.

• Keep lines and production floor clean and free of debris and stocked for the incoming shift.

• Consistently communicate problems or needs with supervisor and assistant supervisor and communicate with all team members.

• Work closely with team members to be more efficient, troubleshooting problems and helping find new or better solutions, ask for help when needed.

• Participate in and promote safety, quality, continuous improvement events and ideas.

MUST HAVE:

• One-year manufacturing experience preferred

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required

• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computer entry

• Must be able to work night shifts and weekends.

• Annual incentive bonus can be as much as 21% of annual wages.

Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $24.00 per hour, plus 2 nd shift differential of $0.60 /h and 3 rd shift differential of $0.70 /h and. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus . The targeted bonus amount can be up to TARGET BONUS% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include: (Edit as needed for role)

  • Shift Differentials (i.e. Hourly Rate plus 2nd Shift Differential of $0.60/ hr; Hourly Rate plus 3rd Shift Differential of $0.70/ hr)

  • Standard Overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5)

  • Attendance Incentive for Meeting Company Attendance Requirements (i.e. $300’s per quarter)

  • Weekend Shift Incentive (Overtime rate on Saturdays and Doubletime rate on Sundays)
