Google Product Operations Engineer, MicroDisplay, Augmented Reality in Fremont, California
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management, Computer Science, Physics, or a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Experience with data analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with microLED display technology or semiconductor manufacturing.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) or SQL for data analysis and automation.
Experience with monitoring, automating, and trouble-shooting operational issues and improving operational efficiency.
Experience with asset management systems and product traceability requirements.

Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Execute and document operational procedures, to deliver product.
Improve the team’s operational processes and efficiency.
Summarize production trends, by monitoring and analyzing production data sets.
Identify and resolve operational problems and production issues, by performing root cause analysis and creating effective solutions.
Validate new production features and software releases.
