Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design server racks, sub-assemblies, and perform system integration. The role primarily involves customization rather than designing from concept. You will also create Bills of Materials (BOMs), validate designs, and conduct thermal analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Design server racks and sub-assemblies.

  • Perform system integration for data center racks.

  • Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).

  • Validate and ensure the accuracy of designs.

  • Conduct thermal and structural analysis.

  • Work with liquid cooling systems.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design.

  • Experience in designing with sheet metal.

  • Familiarity with system integration and server racks.

  • Knowledge of thermal analysis and structural analysis.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work 5 days per week with a standard 8am - 5pm schedule, with flexibility to adjust start and end times by an hour. You will work closely with the Director of Business Development and the Director of Operations.
