Our offer to you

  • You will apply machine learning approaches to medical images in order to automate image analyses of joint morphology.

  • You will further develop your programming skills in Python and learn from experienced software engineers in the process.

  • You are part of the international research and development team of Sports Medicine

  • Your work may contribute to (surgeon) validation and scientific publications.

This is what makes you stand out

  • You are studying computer science or software engineering or a comparable course of study and have an interest in machine learning and algorithm development in the field of Medtech.

  • You have prior experience in developing deep learning algorithms in Python using frameworks like Tensorflow and PyTorch.

  • Prior experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, three-dimensional shapes/meshes and medical imaging would be an advantage.

  • Ideally, you have had exposure to coding guidelines/standards, software development life cycle and version control.

  • You work independently and due to your interest in advancing your software development skills and learning about the clinical application, you will operate successfully in our dynamic team.

  • Good written and spoken English enable you to communicate easily and confidently in our international environment and complete your profile.

Start: October 2024

Duration: 6 months
