The HR Specialist d/f/m is at the heart of our German HR Operations team. The role provides support to associates, manager, the global HR Team and several cross functions in related systems, processes and policies including onboarding and offboarding of associates and other programs covering the entire associate life cycle.
This position is part of the local HR Department in Germany located in Freiburg and Dreieich and will be on-site role. It is a temporary role to cover maternity leave, with a duration of 15 months.

What you will do:
Act as point of contact for all inquiries received via Ticket system from associates, Managers and HRBPs regarding programs, policies, collective agreements and HR related topics.
Carry out various administrative activities in the course of the employee life cycle, such as onboarding, offboarding, transfers including all document preparation
Work in close partnership with local and global stakeholders related to Payroll, Benefit, Operations and Business partnership
Support milestones such as audits, engagement activities, celebrations, HR program roll outs and change management in HR Operations
Create, maintain, store and share current and accurate employee data using tools such as Workday, Payroll System, Smartsheet and various documentation tools
Who you are:
You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or have similar qualifications
You have 2-4 years of proven HR experience
You have the ability to work with cross functional HR and Business team
You are proficient in both german and english
Attention to details and continuous improvement mindset
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Knowledge of relevant labor legislation and collective agreement (Chemietarif)
Hands on user experience of Workday, HR ERP systems, MS Office, and vendor systems
