Aerotek Diesel Mechanic in Freeport, Texas
Transport/Delivery company is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic to their team. They will be working on freight liners with 80% of their fleet having detroit engines. Other portion is Cummins. They will be responsible for the following:
-Performing routine maintenance
Repairs on regeneration systems
Clutch replacement
Brake repairs, repair wheel seals
Turbo replacements
-Working off a preventative maintenance schedule
-Will be doing oil changes, hose changes, belts changes, and minor repairs
-Will NOT be doing complete overhauls
-Will need to troubleshoot the engine and components to determine required maintenance
-They will be working through a computer system to order parts and quote jobs
Day shift M-F - opportunity for OT
