Responsibilities
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload cartons, boxes, merchandise, materials, and products onto or off trailers and trucks. This includes lifting cartons overhead and handling items weighing up to 75 lbs.
Order Fulfillment: Assist in the order fulfillment process by accurately picking and packing products based on customer orders. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate shipment preparation, contributing to customer satisfaction and efficient operations.
Sorting and Placement: Determine appropriate sorting and placement of cartons. Stack cartons onto pallets according to specified procedures, ensuring efficient organization.
Documentation Management: Verify and maintain documentation to facilitate the smooth flow of merchandise onto trailers and trucks. Accurate record-keeping is essential for efficient operations.
Defective Product Identification: Identify and remove defective products during the sorting process to maintain product quality and prevent issues downstream.
Freight Handling and Storage: Organize and store freight in designated areas. Put away items in an orderly manner, contributing to a well-organized warehouse environment.
