Honeywell Sr Mfg Engineering Technician- 1st Shift in Freeport, Illinois
As a Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Automation here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and productivity of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence in the field of industrial automation. Develop, prepare, and maintain plating manufacturing process routings and process sheets. Under general direction creates the design and implementation of plating racks, chemicals, fixtures, and tools to support processes. Develop and implement manufacturing engineering procedures. With your expertise and leadership, you will contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will report directly to our Industrial Automation Operation Manager, and you will work out of our location in Freeport, Illinois onsite. In this role, you will make an impact by optimizing production processes in plating, implementing advanced automation technologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of industrial automation and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement in industrial automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced automation technologies.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams in the field of industrial automation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
The annual base salary range for this position is <$min 58,500 - $mid 73,100>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma
Experience in Chemical Engineering/Plating or related field
Proven experience in manufacturing engineering efforts and plating production/chemical experience.
Strong knowledge of industrial automation technologies and processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
