Robert Half Pre-Lit Paralegal in Freehold, New Jersey
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an experienced Paralegal in Freehold, New Jersey. The role involves providing support to our legal team with a variety of tasks ranging from pre-litigation to case management. You will be working onsite from 9 to 6 PM, utilizing your expertise in legal software such as Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
• Manage pre-litigation and litigation processes, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently
• Operate various legal software including Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel to maintain records and manage cases
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefing documents to support legal proceedings
• Utilize case management software to organize, update, and monitor the progress of each case
• Perform claim administration tasks, including complaint handling and resolution
• Manage billing functions and ensure all legal services are accurately invoiced
• Maintain an organized calendar for the legal team, scheduling meetings, deadlines, and court dates
• Provide administrative support to the legal team, ensuring efficient operations
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity. Requirements • Must have a comprehensive understanding of Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with Case Management Software is essential
• Proficiency in LexisNexis is required
• Experience with Management Systems is necessary
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are crucial
• Ability to handle Billing Functions is important
• Experience in Briefing is essential
• Must have skills in Calendar Management
• Experience in Claim Administration is necessary
• Must be proficient in Complaint Handling
