Kokosing is looking for an Electronic Technician for their Midsized Equipment Department!

Summary

The Electronic Technician will work throughout the state of Ohio, supporting Kokosing heavy highway and heavy industrial projects, asphalt plants, and gravel plants. Responsibilities

• Responsible for low voltage DC systems typically found on equipment and vehicles* *and two-way radio communication equipment.
• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of security and phone systems
• Oversee automated machine control systems integrating computer control with hydraulics and electric on equipment,* *telematics and other various electrical systems.
• Responsible for specialized equipment utilizing PLC controls for process control in production applications

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of DC voltage distribution, controls, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of two-way radio equipment installation, setup, and maintenance
• Basic understanding of IP networking and ethernet protocol.
• Knowledge of telephone systems (installation, programming)
• Knowledge of security system installation, setup, and maintenance
• Knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems and configurations
• Ability to be flexible and learn new systems, applying what you already know
• Good mechanical skills
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Good work ethic and the ability to work through problems with the end in mind
• Good communication skills and the ability to work alone or in a group

Education and Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience

• Valid driver's license
