Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description: As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our fabrication shop. Your responsibilities will include assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas.
Load and unload materials and equipment.
Operate basic hand tools and machinery.
Support fabricators and welders with their tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a fabrication shop or similar environment is a plus.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
Work Environment
Fast-paced, repetitive, and construction-related pre-fabrication shop. MUST wear steel-toe boots and safety glasses. Dress code: long pants and t-shirt. Work hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday-Friday) with plenty of overtime.
