Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction, Inc. Commercial HVAC/R Lead Install Technician in Fredericksburg, Virginia
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC/R Lead Install Technician to join our team. As the Lead Install Technician, you will play a crucial role in our commercial service division, taking the lead in executing commercial HVAC/R system replacements and upgrades with precision and efficiency.
The Lead Install Technician does NOT participate in the on-call rotation. Also, this position is not for new construction installations.

Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee team members throughout the execution of commercial HVAC/R system replacements and upgrades.
Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot HVAC/R issues that arise during the change out process and implement effective solutions to ensure smooth installations.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the change out process to ensure work meets company standards, industry best practices, and client expectations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and complete all necessary paperwork with company issued tablet.
Communicate effectively with clients and other team members.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, contributing to their professional growth and technical expertise.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, specifically in system replacements.
Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC/R systems, wiring, controls, components, and must have proficiency in brazing and soldering.
Universal EPA Certification required.
Physical ability to lift up to 85 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Must be physically fit and able to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights of 6ft or more.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
