Tax Accountant

*This is a permanent, direct-hire position with benefits.

Immediate opening in a busy and growing firm for a CPA or experienced tax accountant. Hours can be flexible and salary/benefits package is commensurate with your experience( 80k-$120k )

A private CPA firm with a long success history, is offering the ideal opportunity for a tax professional to secure a long-term career and a reasonable work/life balance. This is a permanent, year-round position with growth potential and is immediately eligible for benefits. A full time and part time opportunity are currently available.

Ideal Candidates will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting

• CPA certification preferred

• 3-5 years of Tax Preparation experience: individual, business and corporate

• Solid understanding of accounting practices, insurances and tax regulation

Your work will require you to:

• Prepare tax returns

• Have a desire to work year-round, either PT or FT

• Work predominantly in the professional office environment in Frederick

• Work a full-time schedule during the tax season

• Be accurate and analytical

• Be extremely detail oriented, organized and quality-conscious

This position will bring you:

• Salary of $80k-$120k based on FT hours and credentials
