Job Summary The Americas Sales Leader will be responsible for driving sales growth with new and existing channel partners and OEMs in the positive displacement pump space. The brands in this Business Unit include MP Pumps, Oberdorfer Pumps, and Ingersoll Rand Pumps (formerly the Tuthill Pump Group). The product portfolio consists primarily of gear and centrifugal pumps used in diverse market segments including marine, chemical, petrochemical, agriculture, fuel transfer, life sciences, and others. The Sales Leader will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth targets through channel partners and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers. This role demands a results-oriented, collaborative individual with a strong background in industrial pumps sales and a proven track record in leading high-performance sales teams, preferably with positive displacement pumps.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales targets in the Americas region. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners and OEM customers to ensure continued collaboration and mutual growth. Identify and recruit new channel partners and acquire new OEMs to expand market reach and penetration. This includes establishing and growing synergistic channel partners in the Americas Attract, retain develop, and motivate world-class talent to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and performance metrics. Provide guidance and training to enhance the team's skills and capabilities. Regularly track sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress towards targets and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to proactively adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including demand generation, engineering, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on sales performance and market dynamics. Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets, aligning them with the overall business objectives and financial targets Cultivating a high-performing, engaged, ownership-mindset and agile team culture Building effective, strategic partnerships and collaborative relationships internally and externally Requirements 10+ years of sales leadership experience with an established industrial manufacturer; preferably in the pump industry Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience (at least 5 years) in sales leadership roles with a focus on channel partners and OEM customers, preferably in industrial pumps or related equipment. Demonstrated excellent communication skills - The ability to develop and deliver complex technical subjects in simple, understandable and clear language. Strong influencing and listening skills with the ability to exchange information to meet the needs of different audiences at all levels within the organization. Demonstrated experience using data to drive sales team behavior and success Data gathering and analysis tools - Tableau, Qlik, Excel advanced skills ERP tools - SAP, Oracle, etc. CRMs - Salesforce, KNACK, etc. Lead management software for distribution, bookings growth and reporting Microsoft 365 suite Ability to travel as required (estimated 50-75%), including international travel.
