We strive to provide customers with quality products and support services in a timely and effective manner. We are seeking a highly skilled Design/Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Scientific or Engineering Field, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in medical or automotive design and/or systems engineering, with experience in risk management/FMEA being a benefit. What You'll Do: Participates in, and at times, lead projects involving the design, fabrication, validation, and manufacture of medical devices and other healthcare-related instruments, including subassemblies, systems, or processes Analyzes, develops, and recommends design approaches required to meet design and production requirements for new, modified, or enhanced instruments Provide technical support to other Healthmark functional areas, including Business Development, Quality, R&D, and Manufacturing Compiles and evaluates design and test data, prepares technical specifications, and determines appropriate limits and variables for product/material specifications In-step with Quality, Design Engineer analyzes product requirements and other technical specifications to determine if product is performing to requirements; this includes performing risk analysis activities Achieve best practices that meet medical device industry standard, including design control and documentation Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Healthmark QMS About You: Proficiency in technical documentation and oral and written communication skills 2+ years in medical or automotive design and/or systems engineering, experience with risk management/FMEA a benefit Familiar with regulatory requirements for the medical device industry, particularly working experience in design control Capable of effectively interfacing with cross-functional team members in achieving common goals Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once Bachelor's or Master's degree in Scientific or Engineering Field, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for design and systems engineering, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
