BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
The Receiving Clerk requires the team member to receive parts into stock so they can be shipped out to our customers.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving parts – containers, skids, boxes
Unloading Trucks - bulk incoming stock, small packaging (UPS/FedEx), containers
Keep track of freight bills until receipt
Putting stock away as necessary
Bring samples/personal packages to individuals in other departments.
Keeping up with invalid tags/kitting overflow
Receiving kits, process orders
Maintaining a clean work environment
Finding lost parts
Helping with shipping
Assisting with Order-filling in the Keg & Deep Areas
Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
