Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities: - Perform incoming and outgoing inspection of mechanical, electronic components, and fasteners to customer specifications, in accordance with the company\'s ISO Quality system - Log entries of accepted and rejected material - Ensure appropriate and timely escalation of quality issues, including issues of significant deviation with projects to QA Management and make appropriate recommendations for correction and improvement - Make phone calls to customers and vendors to discuss any discrepancy or nonconformance - Locate prints or paperwork regarding customer specifications - Read and interpret drawings, procedures, standards and use precision measuring devices - Report all non-compliances against the specification and/or test procedures - Evaluate and approve documents according to the organization\'s standards and local regulations ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor\'s degree in a scientific discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or related role - Excellent computer and document management skills - Strong attention to detail - Ability to develop and foster positive, collaborative relationships with internal staff as well as with external, third-party vendors - Professional phone etiquette - Good planning and organizational skills - Excellent writing and communication skills ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: greenfield@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/735541 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
