Position: Press Operator

Location: Franklin, TN

Job Type: Full-time, 2nd Shift

Shift: Mon-Fri 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press machines according to established procedures and specifications. Load materials onto the press and adjust settings to achieve the desired output. Monitor press operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed. Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy, and perform necessary measurements and checks. Troubleshoot issues with the press equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with the production team to maintain smooth workflow and meet production targets. Keep accurate records of production data, including output, scrap, and downtime. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to quality control and safety.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot press equipment. Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints. Good understanding of quality control principles and the ability to perform accurate measurements. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to react quickly to resolve issues. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
