AON Account Specialist II in Franklin, Tennessee
Aon is seeking an Insurance Account Manager (Account Specialist II) to join our Commercial Lines team in Franklin, TN.
This is a hybrid role.
The Commercial Lines Account Specialist II will work with Account Executives on complex risk accounts to service a book of clients and keep the renewal process flowing smoothly. The Account Specialist II serves as a jack of all trades, communicating with the client and various members of the Aon team to ensure everything is processed correctly and in a timely fashion.

Understands commercial risk insurance coverage and renewal timing
Organized and a self-starter
Attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
At least 2 years of previous commercial insurance experience required
Property & Casualty insurance license required
Day to Day
Serves in both a client-facing and behind the scene capacity, maintaining effective and positive relationships with clients, while staying organized and on-task.
Ensures a clean paper trail is left on office shared drive for documentation/audit purposes.
Performs renewal request/assembly where assigned. Facilitates the timely and accurate flow of information between clients and account team members.
Gathers and analyzes data. Compiles renewal strategy and renewal proposal slides into cohesive client presentations.
Runs presentations in conjunction with Account Executive during client meetings.
Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, Workers’ Compensation posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
Monitors and follows-up on invoice generation, fee agreements, and other receivables.
Handles client open items list and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
Manages both routine coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.
Provides guidance and mentoring to a less senior Account Specialists.
Delegates work to support staff where applicable.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 - $90,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
