Job Title: General Labor/3rd shift/Can start Asap
Job Description
Candidates will be helping in the production area.
Primary Duties Include:
General production duties
Assisting machine operators
Assisting forklift drivers
Feeding lines
Palletizing and staging
Building pallets
Applying labels and feet to each pallet
Verifying piece counts on each pallet and comparing to label
Keeping production line clear and running
Staging and putting together partials
Fast-paced environment
Hard Skills
Manufacturing
Ability to lift 30-50lbs
Experience with RF scanner
Production/warehouse experience
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Franklin Park, Illinois.
Work Environment
Hunter Panels is a leading manufacturer in the Polysio industries, making insulation panels for the construction industry. The manufacturing/warehouse environment includes 50+ employees between the office and production floor. The facility features sit-down forklifts moving throughout, several production lines with various machines including saws and slitters. Candidates will walk through or over conveyor systems to reach different areas of the saws. All walkways are safe. This facility is open-door with trucks loading and unloading products, resulting in hot conditions in the summer and cold in the winter. Candidates must be okay with working in such conditions.
