How Will You Make an Impact?

Located in Franklin, MA, we are seeking a highly motivated individual who pays great attention to detail to join the Chemical Analysis Division as a Sr. Material Handler within Operations.

A Day in the Life:

  • Process shipments using UPS, Federal Express, DHL, and other common carriers

  • File AES documents

  • Prepare all documents such as Commercial Invoices, Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, Certificate of Origin

  • Apply your experience with Mapics (preferred) to ensure flawless execution

  • Multitask efficiently and prioritize tasks with a strong sense of urgency to meet targets

  • Be certified to process dangerous goods

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field

  • Preferred: Inventory control experience

  • Preferred: Powered industrial trucks (order pickers), pallet jack and dolly experience.

  • Preferred: Experience transacting in MRP systems, Smartsheet, Salesforce, scanning equipment, and digital literacy.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong written and interpersonal skills to clearly connect with internal customers and other internal departments of the Distribution organization.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate, interpret information and procedures, and act to resolve issues.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Desire to work as part of a team, but also the ability to work independently and act as a self starter, leading team activities when vital.

  • Follow SOP and company policies, acceptive to mentoring as needed, and does the right thing when no one's watching.

  • Ability to read and write in English.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Traditional warehouse setting with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements including but not limited to: safety glasses protection, close toed footwear, and steel toed boots for relevant roles.

  • Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required.
