The Event Coordinator/Specialist will plan and coordinate events. The qualified individual will be responsible for selecting venues, adhere to the given budget, arrange onsite vendors and ensure client satisfaction for the scheduled events. The Event Coordinator/Specialist is responsible for all aspects of event planning. We are a rapidly growing company in need of a motivated person who is willing to be trained. We are looking for someone who has an interest in music, marketing and promotion. Excellent people skills and networking are necessary to be successful in this position. A positive and professional attitude is a requirement. Prior knowledge and ability to maneuver on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn are necessary to complete most social media tasks. Intermediate computer skills are required. Some job duties will be proofreading, editing, and creating promotional material. Communicating with local media entities, customers, vendors and the public professionally daily are necessary. Must have reliable transportation.
