Sales Support Assistant Part-Time Position Position Summary To serve our internal and external customers by resolving customer issues and maintaining customer satisfaction to established standards in order to increase company sales and profits. Essential Functions Ensures all consumer and customer complaints (e.g. product, property damage) are resolved in a professional manner according to established company standards; provides timely follow through and feedback to both external and internal customers. Delivers and picks up product, merchandise and equipment to external customers (e.g. Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Clippers, Nationwide Arena) and special events as directed by internal customers (e.g. company owners, Senior Management Team, G&J AdCo). Receives shipments and processes outgoing orders; ensures accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments and completes all necessary paperwork to record transactions according to established company guidelines. Organizes IRCs, uniforms and POS material to facilitate storage and replenishment according to established company standards (e.g. materials being stored safely, materials being secured). Works to increase the awareness and presence of Pepsi-Cola's outdoor sign advertisement through account sales and return on investment analysis; manages, maintains and justifies annual outdoor sign advertisement budget. Tracks usage and creates reports for uniform needs, POS and IRC usage; anticipates shortages and communicates need to reorder; performs reordering functions under the direction of the Sales Support Management Team. Completes, maintains and distributes gratis slip report, consumer product complaints, property damage and vehicle accident reports (less than $1500), sign budget report, daily and weekly status reports (e.g. POS inventory report, IRC availability report, items received report) and other required paperwork according to established company policy. Checks with main warehouse for Merchandising Department deliveries; ensures that Merchandising Deliveries are transported to Merchandising Building in a timely manner. Delivers Pepsi-Cola check disbursements to customers. Maintains confidentiality of gratis information, consumer product complaints, property and vehicle accident information, garage door codes and other confidential information. Communicates with other employees and customers regarding requests for information; supervisor and management team regarding any problems or issues (e.g. employee concerns, reporting issues). Completed time-off requests and other required paperwork according to established standards. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required. Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience At least 7 years of previous customer relations experience within the beverage industry. Other Requirements Knowledge of: grocery and beverage industry; budgeting process. Skill in: internal and external customer service in a variety of settings; handling customer complaint calls. Ability to: work quickly and efficiently without direct supervision; be adaptable, open and flexible in a changing work environment; shift focus and set new work priorities to achieve desired business outcomes and priorities; communicate effectively with customers and other employees; relate to customers and develop good working relationships; be trained on a two and four-wheel hand cart, forklift and pallet jack.
