Oracle Principal Cloud Technical Program Manager, JoinOCI in Frankfort, Kentucky

Job Description

The right candidate should be passionate about delivering services to customers while also possessing a deep understanding of strategic business objectives. the candidate will manage DRCC and Alloy deal validations to understand the risk to Oracle and succinctly communicate this to the Oracle executive team. The candidate will work with the in-region sales teams to ensure the customer understands their obligation to deliver on their commitments to successfully support a DRCC or Alloy environment. Being able to work cross functionally in a global environment are important skill sets, whilst also balancing this with the deadlines you will work under to ensure a successful outcome for our customers.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical and business skills in this area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction to others. This role requires experiences working within or alongside product management, leadership skills, and strong business judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating to the in-country sales teams the data center and deal qualification requirements.

  • Receiving the feedback from the customer and/or sales teams to determine compliance with our standards and seeking noncompliance approvals from the delivery teams where needed.

  • Delivering a deal validation report to the executive team, highlighting any risks or exceptions needed and running appropriate meetings to coordinate and resolve exceptions.

  • Working closely with engineering teams translating business requirements into technical requirements to help shape the product.

  • Driving alignment on product features, business metrics, and business strategies.

  • Assisting in the development of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives for exponential customer and partner adoption.

  • Be the voice of customers and partners with Oracle’s various cloud engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at all levels across an organization.

  • Experience with cloud services and Data Center networking.

  • Understanding of cloud competitive landscape, customer priorities and challenges.

  • Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling such as Jira.

  • Ability to think broadly and strategically.

  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation, influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

  • Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.

  • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.

  • Ability to create detailed engagement plans to keep up with the high velocity of features being delivered on the platform

  • Demonstrated ability to drive programs and projects to completion.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
