Actalent Maintenance Engineer in Frankfort, Kentucky

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Join our maintenance engineering team to work on critical initiatives involving the installation and programming of Robots and PLCs. You will also develop maintenance PMs/Schedules and oversee projects. Collaborating closely with Mechanical and Electrical maintenance teams, you will address escalated engineering issues. Your role includes ensuring that equipment in assigned areas operates effectively and efficiently, designing equipment tooling such as jigs and fixtures as necessary, and writing manufacturing and work instructions.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or 4 years of experience

  • PLC programming/troubleshooting

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Work Environment

Be prepared for a work environment that can be hot and is not temperature-controlled in certain areas. The role is primarily first shift but requires flexibility for substantial overtime, especially during shutdowns and holidays. You will be joining a team of 7 other Maintenance Engineers.
