Renaissance Patriot Place, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking experienced and friendly servers to join our team. General Responsibilities: * Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible) * Take orders from guests and deliver to appropriate person to execute * Answer questions regarding the menu * Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition * Take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen * Delivers food, beverages, condiments and other requested items * Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest?s satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen * Collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal * Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies * Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures * Ensure sideboards are adequately stocked * Set tables to standards, and that all items are clean and in good repair * Prepare guest checks and collect payment * Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments * Perform other related duties as assigned, you may required to perform a variety or duties in multiple departments during a shift Requirements: * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to solve problems * Ability to operate point-of-sale system * Ability to work quickly and efficiently * Organizational and time management skills * Ability to work with a team * Ability to maintain personal hygiene * Must be at least 18 years of age * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred * Previous experience as a server preferred * Ability to work 7-day rotational schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays We\'ve got you covered: Benefits & Perks: * Medical Insurance with Company-Funded HRA * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts * Wide-Array of Supplemental Insurance Offerings * Paid Time Off Programs * Employee Assistance Program * 401K Plan - Traditional & Roth Options with Employer Match * Hotel Discount Travel Program for Associates & Family * Exclusive Associate Discounts - Travel, Entertainment, & Retail * Training and Development Programs * Career Advancement Opportunities Colwen Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
